Business and IT services provider, NTT DATA, has been awarded a Cloud Solutions master agreement through a multi-state cooperative procurement administered by NASPO ValuePoint.
As a result of the request for proposal (RFP), which was led by the State of Utah, NTT DATA was awarded a master agreement for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), which may be used by state agencies, institutions of higher learning, and other political entities.
“To be identified and selected as premier cloud solutions provider is a testament to the depth of our service offerings, as well as the positive outcomes we achieve for our clients,” said Tim Conway, president, Public Sector for NTT DATA. “This master agreement will enable our team to continue to deliver our differentiated offerings and expand our client footprint across the public sector, which is a primary vertical for NTT DATA.”
NTT DATA’s IaaS offering would provide government agencies – and enterprises – with a secured and highly-available cloud hosting environment with enterprise-grade features for a wide variety of applications. In addition, NTT DATA has managed services for clients in need of turnkey, integrated, operational management and support for all cloud environments.
In order to assist clients in managing transformational programs for IT infrastructure, NTT DATA also offers consulting services that encompass assessment, data center planning, implementation, virtualization, rationalization, consolidation, workload migration and transition services, as well as disaster recovery and business continuity.
“Government agencies are often searching for IT providers to help them meet constituent demands, while also containing costs,” added Mr. Conway. “Our team works with state agencies to build a path toward IT modernization using insights and solutions that navigate and simplify the complexities of evolving technologies.”
