OnApp and Interxion Launch CloudPOD to Accelerate Cloud Service Delivery of Managed Hosting Providers

onapp-cloudInfrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud provider, OnApp, has partnered with European colocation provider, Interxion, to deliver a CloudPOD package for the rapid test and launch of new IaaS cloud hosting services. The CloudPOD partnership enables managed hosting providers to quickly deploy OnApp-powered cloud hosting services from any of Interxion’s 36 data centers in 11 European countries.

Onapp’s CloudPOD is a new range of all-in-one cloud packages, combining the OnApp cloud management platform with best-of-breed software, hardware, hosting and connectivity from OnApp partners.

The Onapp CloudPOD solution is available in partnership with Interxion, Dell (hardware) and Custom Connect (connectivity), and provides managed hosting providers a turnkey way to deploy ready-to-run cloud hosting services at Interxion’s data centers across Europe, reducing time to market for deploying new cloud hosting services.

Try CloudPOD for free

data-centers-europe-interxionManaged hosting providers are enabled to try CloudPOD for free before they buy it, using the CloudPOD Test Lab in Interxion’s City of London data center campus. The Test Lab allows service providers to familiarize themselves with the environment and trial different scenarios and integrations to obtain realistic results. Once the testing phase demonstrates the feasibility of CloudPOD, managed hosting providers can instantly deploy their new service via Interxion Cloud Hubs, a community of hosting, infrastructure providers, hyper scale platforms, systems integrators, software providers and networks.

OnApp launched in July 2010 and has more than 120 staff across the EU, U.S. and Asia-Pacific. More than 800 service providers in 87 countries run on OnApp. The company provides a complete IaaS platform for managed hosting providers, telcos and MSPs, with one fully automated control panel for cloud hosting services, dedicated servers, CDN, storage and more.
