OVH Launches New Data Centers in Singapore, Warsaw and Sydney

Global hosting provider OVH has announced the launch of three new data centers in Singapore, Warsaw and Sydney, kicking off a wave of 10 new data centers that will come online in 2017 in countries across the world (United States, Germany, Italy, Spain, England and the Netherlands). These deployments are part of OVH’s ambitious expansion plans to invest $1,5 billion in the next five years.

Founded in 1999 by Octave Klaba, OVH has grown rapidly to become one of the leading providers of dedicated cloud infrastructure in Europe with a total of 250,000 servers across 17 data centers in France and Canada. OVH’s turnover for FY 2016 stands at €320 million.

OVH made its Canadian entrance in 2012, opening an office in Montréal and, soon after, establishing one of the largest data hosting centers in the world – with a 400,000-server capacity – in the suburbs of Quebec’s metropolis.
