OVH to Launch Software Defined Data Center On-Demand Offer in Partnership with VMware

Global hosting provider OVH has launched the first step in on-demand software-defined data centers. Customers can now activate VMware NSX directly from OVH’s customer control panel with complete autonomy. Very soon the offer will be supplemented with additional infrastructure elements like VMware Virtual SAN storage as well as VMware vRealize Operations Management As-a-service.

OVH‘s Dedicated Cloud continues to evolve with the integration of VMware NSX network virtualization platform. VMware NSX will allow infrastructure managers to deploy, in just a few clicks, all the necessary components needed to build their platforms (firewall, LoadBalancer, private networks, etc.) as well as to define their security policies easily and directly from their vSphere console.
