Parallels Unveils Support for Windows Azure Pack for Hosting Providers

Parallels, provider of software for the hosting industry, has unveiled support for a Microsoft Windows Azure Pack for Hosting Providers. The solution for the hosting market is developed by Parallels in collaboration with Microsoft’s server and tools business group.

Windows Azure is an open and flexible cloud platform that enables you to quickly build, deploy, and manage applications.

At the same time, Parallels has updated its support for Microsoft Lync 2013 Hosting Pack, Microsoft Exchange 2013 and Microsoft Office 365. The new product and updated features help make Parallels enable Microsoft Cloud solutions in the hosting industry via a variety of cloud distribution channels.

To help address small and medium businesses’ growing need for robust cloud solutions, Parallels has been collaborating with Microsoft since 2007 to enable the delivery of cloud services for telecom companies, hosting providers, distributors, managed service providers and VARs. The software company has a Microsoft Global ISV and Gold Certified Partner status. This has helped Parallels develop services with value-added support to help its service provider partners drive more revenue faster by offering essential solutions for specific SMB workloads.

“Few companies understand the hosting and cloud needs of SMBs better than Parallels,” said Jon Roskill, corporate vice president, World Wide Partner Group, Microsoft. “And they continue to demonstrate it with how fast they accelerate deployments for new Microsoft hosting partners.”

Parallels is a global operating software provider for hosting and cloud services enablement and cross platform solutions. Parallels began operations in 2000 and is a fast-growing software company with more than 900 employees in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.
