Global supplier of networking and data center optimization services, Park Place Technologies, has acquired Derby, UK-based IT solutions company Xuper. Xuper was established about forty years ago, and it has offices in the US, Germany, and the UK. Among its services are professional and third-party maintenance. Peter Grogan, the Chairman and Managing Director of Xuper, has announced his retirement, however he will continue to support the company throughout this transition.
Clients of Xuper may benefit from Park Place’s comprehensive range of IT Lifecycle products, including Professional and Managed Services, as well as its worldwide access to components and engineering know-how.
Customers of Park Place will have access to Xuper’s workforce of skilled engineers, who have an average of more than 20 years of experience in the industry, as well as staff augmentation services and broad third-party maintenance capabilities.
“Xuper received investment banking services from Agile Equity and Clairfield, which also helped to organize the deal. Working with both teams was enjoyable,” said Peter Grogan. “Throughout the transaction, their industry expertise proved to be invaluable.”
Park Place Technologies’ President and CEO, Chris Adams, said that the company is still committed to provide top-notch assistance and customer care. “Xuper boasts nearly four decades of outstanding customer service, as well as a long list of industry accolades and certifications. Xuper has been a reputable brand for many years. Its approach of problem-solving and forming enduring relationships is consistent with Park Place’s objectives. Their dedication to channel partners is an asset to our collaboration with the world’s most successful channel organizations.”
Park Place Technologies assists over 21,000 customers in maximizing data center spending, efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability to enable them to think more broadly and take action more quickly. IT teams can improve IT lifecycle management with their wide range of services and solutions, from purchase to decommissioning.
The multilingual support staff at Xuper would increase Park Place’s capacity to assist customers worldwide. Park Place Technologies anticipates that the worldwide market will get the same “industry-leading” services that Park Place offers in North America, supported by escalation to on-site technical assistance.
