Peak 10 + ViaWest Rebrands as Flexential

"The cornerstone of our company is the people," added Mr. Downie. "They power our business and give us the opportunity to serve our customers no matter how technology changes."

FlexentialPeak 10 + ViaWest has officially adopted a new brand: Flexential. The rebrand follows the combination of ViaWest and Peak 10 in August 2017. The new name would be based on the company’s “flexible, customer-focused approach.” Flexential states that the rebrand is part of a new approach in which customers would experience the human touch they are looking for.

“The combination of Peak 10 and ViaWest gave us a new, unique position in the marketplace, and we felt it important to create a new brand to reflect that position,” said Chris Downie, CEO of Flexential. “As Flexential, our two companies come together to stand for something unique in the world of IT transformation: the human touch. We believe in the power of people in a technical world, and strongly feel that the best infrastructure solutions are about people.”

As the owner/operator of 41 redundant and connectivity-rich colocation data centers, Flexential continues to deliver data center solutions spanning colocation, connectivity, cloud, managed solutions and professional services to its 4,200+ customers. “The cornerstone of our company is the people,” added Mr. Downie. “They power our business and give us the opportunity to serve our customers no matter how technology changes.”

The announcement follows the news that Peak 10 + ViaWest unveiled its 114,700-square foot expansion of their Brookwood colocation data center in Hillsboro, Oregon. The added space is being built from the ground up adjacent to the existing data center building and will bring the total Brookwood footprint to roughly 220,000 square feet of data center space.
