Infrastructure-a-a-Service provider phoenixNAP, a company delivering security-focused cloud infrastructure, dedicated servers, and colocation technology solutions globally, has successfully completed the Arizona Security, Privacy, Risk & Authorization Management Program (AZRamp).

The AZRamp program is run by the State of Arizona Department of Homeland Security. The attestation allows phoenixNAP to access, transmit, process, and/or store confidential information from the State of Arizona.

AZRamp mandates cloud suppliers to give evidence demonstrating that they satisfy needed measures to secure public and sensitive data, based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) cybersecurity framework. This provides a standardized method for assessing cloud suppliers and guaranteeing dependable cloud deployments in enterprises with stringent security and compliance requirements. The initiative focuses on cloud service providers (CSPs) headquartered in Arizona, examining their security capabilities before allowing them to handle sensitive data.
