Cloud infrastructure provider, ProfitBricks, has strengthened its Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform by adding solid-state drive (SSD) technology and Intel Xeon processors for provisioning in all data centers.
With the addition of Intel Xeon technology in all virtual servers, ProfitBricks has also created an exclusive ‘Core Technology Choice’ capability, which allows partners to choose between AMD Opteron processors and Intel processors within the same virtual data center.
Xeon processors would offer ProfitBricks clients a powerful environment because each Intel core is assigned a hyper-thread, which the operating system treats like a second core.

ProfitBricks IaaS solutions are sold exclusively in the U.S. through Pax8 and its nationwide network of partners.
