QTS Hires Steve Bloom as Chief People Officer (CPO)

QTS Realty Trust, an international provider of data center, managed hosting and cloud services, has announced that Steve C. Bloom has joined the company as Chief People Officer (CPO). Most recently, Bloom served as SVP and Chief Human Resource Officer for ProBuild, a $5B distribution and building materials company with more than 11,000 employees.

Steve Bloom has more than 25 years of hands-on leadership experience in a variety of industries including technology, healthcare, consumer products, and financial services, having spent the majority of his career in world-class organizations like PepsiCo, Citibank and Medco.

Prior to joining QTS, Mr. Bloom partnered with a professor at The Mendoza School of Business at Notre Dame University. Their work focused on research and application of what enables employees to flourish in the workplace, find meaning in their work and enhance workers’ overall well-being.

Mr. Bloom holds a Master of Business Administration from the Owen Graduate School of Business at Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor of General Studies in Psychology from the University of Kansas.
