Quanta Cloud Technology Expands Global Presence, Opens New Offices in Japan and China

Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT), a supplier of server, storage, networking and integrated rack systems to cloud data centers worldwide, is accelerating its global expansion with the addition of new sales and customer support facilities in Japan and China.

The new Quanta Cloud Technology office in Tokyo is focused on serving the needs of cloud hosting service providers, carrier customers and channel partners in that market. QTC’s new offices in Beijing and Hangzhou, China, support Chinese cloud service providers and channel partners delivering a diversity of services, including cloud hosting, search, web portal, social media and e-commerce services.

This expansion would underscore the rapid growth of QCT in its core data center business. “As one of the world’s largest suppliers to cloud data centers, QCT is experiencing rapid growth as the cloud computing industry accelerates,” said Mike Yang, QCT general manager. “Our new offices in Japan and China will help us respond to the increasing demand for our products as we bring disruptive changes to the datacenter ecosystem in these two markets.”

The Quanta Cloud Technology parent company is Quanta Computer Inc., a Fortune Global 500 technology engineering and manufacturing company based in Taiwan, with more than 100,000 employees worldwide. QTC’s product lines include servers, storage, network switches, and integrated rack systems.
