Qumulo Adds New Global Distribution Channels for Its Hybrid Cloud File Software

Hybrid cloud file storage provider, Qumulo, has expanded the availability of its hybrid file software with new global partnerships and distribution channels. Qumulo’s extended partner and distribution network now includes Fujitsu, Global Distribution, and Arrow Electronics, as well as an expanded reach of its HPE partnership.

“Through our partnership with Qumulo, Fujitsu is leveraging Qumulo’s ability to transform enterprise scale-out networks into cloud-native storage,” said Olivier Delachapelle, Head of Category Management at Fujitsu Europe.

Qumulo sells one hundred percent of its software through channel partners. The company’s global expansion and “robust” partner network would allow its customers to purchase the storage technologies they need through a wide range of value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, specialized systems integrators, and technology alliance partners, or through flexible consumption models that can simplify multi-cloud operations.

“A broad commercial ecosystem enables our customers to move away from outdated legacy architectures while continuing to purchase from trusted partners with whom they have built long-standing relationships,” said Gregg Machon, Channel Chief, Qumulo. “We are rapidly adding partners so that our customers around the world can enjoy the benefits of Qumulo’s solutions and maintain their enterprise- and industry-specific partner arrangements.”

HPE GreenLake Incorporates Qumulo Hybrid Cloud File Software

HPE and Qumulo have enjoyed a “successful” partnership offering modern scale-out NAS appliances since the inception of their collaboration in 2017. The two organizations are now extending their offering to HPE GreenLake. HPE GreenLake delivers an as-a-Service portfolio that would provide flexibility and speed to market with cloud-like agility and economics but also on-premises control.

“The cloud experience has shaped what business leaders expect from IT, including simplicity, agility and lower costs,” said Erik Vogel, Global Vice President Customer Experience, HPE GreenLake. “HPE GreenLake gives customers pay-per-use, managed IT-as-a-Service offerings that provide them with a consistent cloud experience for managing all their workloads. Qumulo’s hybrid cloud file storage platform is a great fit with HPE GreenLake as it enables users to start with the capacity they need and grow based on business demand.”

Fujitsu Now Sells Qumulo

As a leading Japanese information and communication technology (ICT) company, Fujitsu offers a full range of technology products, solutions, and services. By incorporating Qumulo’s hybrid cloud file storage software into its storage portfolio, Fujitsu now offers a single solution to unify unstructured data from disparate locations, including edge, core and cloud.

“Through our partnership with Qumulo, Fujitsu is leveraging Qumulo’s ability to transform enterprise scale-out networks into cloud-native storage,” said Olivier Delachapelle, Head of Category Management at Fujitsu Europe. “The combined capabilities of Fujitsu and Qumulo deliver the performance, security and enterprise feature sets of data center storage within hybrid IT environments – all in a single, easy to manage solution.”

Arrow Electronics, Global Distribution Expand Channel Reach in EMEA

  • Arrow Electronics – This global technology solutions distributor has signed a distribution agreement with Qumulo to deliver hybrid file software solutions to clients throughout Europe. Together, Arrow and Qumulo will bring increased access to Qumulo’s software-defined, cloud-native distributed file system, which would enable customers to manage workflows and data seamlessly across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Global Distribution – Focused on the media and entertainment (M&E) industry, Global Distribution has added Qumulo’s hybrid cloud file storage solution to its portfolio – to provide its channel partners with the best tools to meet today’s and tomorrow’s challenges of M&E workflows. The partnership with Global Distribution would allow Qumulo to accelerate its momentum within the M&E market while providing easy access and availability of Qumulo’s file system to more users around the world.

“Media and entertainment workloads require high-performance storage that is highly available and that provides advanced analytics for storage capacity management,” said Nick Warburton, Worldwide Director of Enterprise Storage at Global Distribution. “Qumulo’s scale-out NAS and hybrid cloud file system meets these requirements and more, as customers are increasingly looking for cloud-capable solutions. Qumulo is an exciting addition to our portfolio and enables Global to offer a truly modern distributed file system.”
