Global cloud hosting company, Rackspace, has announced the launch of its new partner program. The Rackspace Partner Program would provide channel partners with better visibility and access into Rackspace’s portfolio of managed IT services and expertise that the company has to offer, across the leading private and public clouds, application services, along with managed hosting, colocation and managed security.
“Rackspace recognizes that as technology continues to evolve, end users are continuing to uncover new business challenges and as a result must modernize their IT,” said Lisa McLin, Channel Chief at Rackspace. “The new program will better enable partners to service their customers through our unrivaled portfolio and unbiased expertise to help organizations as they transform their IT.”
Rackspace has made investments in tools and resources to make it easier for channel partners to help their customers in their digital transformation. As part of the program, partners would be able to take advantage of new features, including:
- Strategic partner agreement – Partners will have an agreement with Rackspace that aligns with their business and includes increased partner benefits such as a formalized MDF program, sales, and technical resources, and customer life-cycle management.
- Strengthened partner enablement – More access to resources, such as dedicated partner account managers, Partner Open Book events, Rackspace executive sponsorship, priority access to the Rackspace Customer Experience Center and joint marketing content would provide increased transparency between Rackspace and the partner community, enabling partners to have “strategic” conversations with their customers.
- Enhanced partner portal – Partners have more access to tools that enable them to not only manage their existing business with Rackspace, “but also positions them for continued growth with their customers.”
Based in San Antonio, Texas, Rackspace serves more than 140,000 business customers, including most of the Fortune 100, from data centers on five continents.
