Global cyber security and application delivery solutions provider, Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR), has now included additional encrypted protection features in its DDoS prevention solution. The new capabilities would provide enterprises, carriers, and service providers with the highest protection from SSL DDoS attacks, allowing them to gain greater visibility and control over their cyber defense strategies against encrypted DDoS attacks, as well as customize their cyber defense strategies against encrypted DDoS attacks.
Multiple decryption and mitigation solutions for a better degree of security are included in Radware’s DefensePro and Cloud DDoS Protection Services’ enhanced capabilities. Without compromising user privacy, it would now be easier to identify and remediate attacks, manage keys, and eliminate latency difficulties.
Organizations are using HTTPS and encrypted communication as a default communication channel due to an increase in fraud and hacker activities, as well as growing privacy requirements, stated Radware. While traffic encryption is necessary for ensuring security and user privacy, it has also paved the way for a new breed of very effective encrypted DDoS attacks. The assaults would imitate genuine traffic, overloading and degrading destination servers and rendering them inaccessible to human users.

Keyless SSL Protection
Radware’s solution includes Keyless SSL Protection, which detects, characterizes, and mitigates SSL attacks without the need for SSL decryption. Radware also offers more user choices in addition to Keyless SSL Protection, such as Selective Full SSL Protection, which reduces latency and delays to legal user sessions by decrypting only when under attack and only for suspect sessions.
