Data centers are increasingly facing new challenges as they fill cabinets with new and densely packed servers in order to save facility space and reduce energy costs. Henry Hsu, Vice President-Global Power Architecture at Raritan, will be speaking at AFCOM Data Center World on how to solve unexpected design challenges in high-density deployments and converged infrastructures.
Henry Hsu will share with attendees the three most common design criteria that can cause unexpected challenges in a high-power density data center, as well as share customer case studies and best practices for high-density deployments. His speaker session also will touch upon the unique power needs of converged infrastructures.
“Higher cabinet power densities can enable tremendous infrastructure and energy efficiencies,” said Henry Hsu. “But it can also create unintended deployment problems that can potentially compromise serviceability or uptime.”
