Scale Computing Unveils New MSP Channel Program

Hyperconverged solutions provider Scale Computing has announced a new Managed Service Provider (MSP) channel program with a new flexible pricing model that would reduce CapEx through a price per-node, per-month, OpEx subscription.

Created to boost partner profitability, the extended program would also enable partners to sell additional vital services meeting growing customer requirements around Disaster-Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Remote-Management-as-a-Service (RMMaaS).

“We are committed to working with the channel in a true partnership, and our updated program is a reflection of this as we strive to enable our partners to maintain a competitive advantage. The market is dynamic, and channel partners need to adapt to meet new challenges and customer requirements,” said Jeff Ready, CEO of Scale Computing. “There is a growth in value-add services – organizations are looking to work with the latest market trends from the cloud, to DRaaS, RMMaaS, IaaS, AI, IoT and Edge Computing – with our updated program we are enabling partners to offer a differentiated service in today’s competitive market that is underpinned by simplified virtualization.”

HC3 Appliances, Lenovo-based

Designed to meet the needs of its 100 percent channel approach, Scale Computing’s program would be dedicated to simplifying channel enablement and is launched on the back of increased demand for Scale Computing’s HC3 platform across a growing number of use cases by service providers and distributed enterprises. Partners are able to purchase Scale Computing and Lenovo hardware based HC3 appliances, or as a complete on-premises data center in a box, which would enable them to add on valuable services and offer bespoke solutions to meet individual customer requirements.

“We strive to offer the latest solutions to our customers but it can be challenging to meet the demands for flexible scale-out solutions within IT budgets that are only getting tighter. We were pleased to see that Scale Computing added even more support for selling Opex based managed services capabilities to their program and portfolio, not only does the HC3 Platform deliver on scalability, performance and flexibility, it is also incredibly cost-effective, meeting our customer needs,” said Guy Verstraeten, director cloud solutions & projects at Cegeka in Belgium. “Being part of the Scale Partner Community is more than simply reselling the solution – the Scale Computing team is always helpful and ready to assist us in the sales process from beginning to end. Its commitment to its partners is of a uniquely high standard and we look forward to continuing to work with the company and the solution.”
