Schneider Electric has expanded its Micro Data Center solution range with the launch of their Easy Micro Data Center Series. Available immediately in Europe, South America, East Asia, the Middle East and Africa, Easy Micro Data Centers are developed to hold and provide all of the computation, storage, and infrastructure required to enable edge computing applications.
Easy Micro Data Centers are network-enabled for web-based remote monitoring. The new data center solution offering incorporates Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure IT software add-on choices, providing secured, real-time intelligence and visibility from anywhere.
Schneider Electric’s Easy Micro Data Centers use the vendor’s newly released Easy Racks and Enclosures as a foundation. They come equipped with Schneider Electric’s ‘Easy UPS’ line of uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), Easy Power Distribution Units (PDUs), environmental monitoring, as well as cooling, and are pre-integrated at the factory and supplied direct to site.
Because of their high level of pre-integration and testing, IT solutions providers, systems integrators, and value-added resellers (VARs) can specify and deliver Easy Micro Data Centers to site in 2-to-4 weeks, according to Schneider Electric. This would make them ideal for quick deployment by organizations that value flexibility, reliability, cost, and speed of response.
From Office Environments to Server Rooms
Easy Micro Data Centers may be implemented at any edge computing or dispersed IT site due to their small size and integrated architecture. The Easy Micro Data Center C-Series variants are enclosed enclosures that may be used in semi-controlled commercial situations like a regular office or corporate premises. The Easy Micro Data Center S-Series, on the other hand, comes with vented enclosures for easy integration into common IT settings like network closets and server rooms.

Availability
The C-Series and S-Series versions of the Schneider Electric Easy Micro Data Center are now available in certain countries through Schneider Electric’s channel partners, IT distributors, and systems integrators, as well as directly from Schneider Electric.
