Sectigo Unveils Automation of AWS and GCP Digital Certificates

The ability to issue and manage digital certificates from publicly trusted CAs, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and other sources is now made available to organizations by Sectigo. Organizations may use Sectigo Certificate Manager for this, giving them complete visibility and lifecycle control over all public and private digital certificates on a single platform.

Organizations may identify, deploy, install, and renew the lifecycles of all digital certificates deployed inside a corporate ecosystem thanks to this innovation.

Kevin Weiss, CEO at Sectigo
“CISOs and their teams must acquire and manage multiple, expensive, and siloed public key infrastructure and CLM solutions to tackle human and machine identity management,” said Kevin Weiss, CEO at Sectigo.

The innovation offered by Sectigo’s global SCM platform is CA agnostic, allowing it to function with a wide range of diverse IT systems, digital certificate types, use cases, and Certificate Authorities. SCM would offer a “cutting-edge” method for safeguarding enormous numbers of machine and human identities at scale. Within a single cloud-based interface, the platform can obtain, install, and manage any public or private certificate from Microsoft ADCS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS Cloud Services, as well as public and private certificates from third-party suppliers.

“Certificate Lifecycle Management is increasingly becoming mission-critical for IT leaders as they work to establish digital trust for their enterprises in remote and hybrid work environments,” said Kevin Weiss, CEO at Sectigo. “CISOs and their teams must acquire and manage multiple, expensive, and siloed public key infrastructure and CLM solutions to tackle human and machine identity management. Our priority is to help them with security vendor consolidation by combining public and private certificate issuance and CLM into one single pane of glass. Our customers see substantial cost savings and management efficiencies.”

Cloud Security

According to Sectigo, key Benefits of using Sectigo Certificate Manager would include the following:

  • Certificate Management in the Cloud – Efficiency in the cloud would entail lower deployment costs, quicker threat detection, automation, and perimeterless security in cloud and multi-cloud systems
  • Zero-Touch Deployment – Advanced abilities to quickly and automatically install user and device certificates
  • Crypto Agility – A single point of management for all certificates, public and private, issued by Sectigo and other Certificate Authorities
  • Vendor Consolidation – To prevent platform proliferation and vendor lock-in, a flexible and open certificate management system
  • Enterprise Integrations – Integrations with top technology suppliers provide clients deployment flexibility and adaptations to fit their particular surroundings
  • Dedicated Support – Providing customers with white glove service that is industry-leading according to Sectigo, from account opening to ongoing support

“As IT teams face a widening security perimeter with millions of endpoints and siloed certificate and identity management, Sectigo offers simple, cost-effective, and comprehensive solutions providing enterprises with a single pane of glass for all their human and machine identities,” added Mr. Weiss. “An identity-first security approach with SCM is key for every modern business to access, authenticate, and secure its IT security stack and processes. We are pleased to announce our latest innovations which further solidify Sectigo as the leader in establishing digital trust.”
