ServerMania, a Canadian cloud, colocation and dedicated server hosting provider, has added a new Amsterdam data center to its network of global infrastructure hosting facilities. ServerMania’s Amsterdam data center location is its fifth, joining the company’s existing locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Amsterdam is among the world’s largest Internet hubs, offering high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity to Europe, the UK, and beyond.
Located in a Tier 3 data center with access to a wide range of bandwidth providers and fast fiber connections throughout Europe, the new data center environment in Amsterdam would represent a significant expansion of ServerMania’s data center capacity. The capacity added is in response to growing global demand for ServerMania’s range of cloud and dedicated server hosting products.
At launch, ServerMania will offer dedicated server hosting, managed services, and hybrid server hosting from the new location – with public and private cloud hosting launching in the near future.
“This European data center solidifies our commitment to building a truly global network,” said Kevin Blanchard, CEO of ServerMania. “Server hosting customers will be able to leverage the new location for low-latency access to European markets with all the reliability and support they’ve come to expect from ServerMania.”
The expansion into Amsterdam, the Netherlands follows the news that ServerMania expanded into Montreal last year.
