The Advanced DNS control is a powerful tool, allowing you to control individual DNS records. It’s commonly used to:
◾Point your website to another webserver.
◾Point your email to another provider.
◾Create your own Nameservers.
If your domain name is registered in your control panel and is using Fasthosts Nameservers, you can access the advanced DNS section of your control panel.
Difficulty: Experienced (Knowledge of DNS required)
How long will it take me?
◾Around 5 minutes.
◾The changes may take several hours to propagate across the Internet.
What will I need?
◾Your control panel username and password.
◾A domain name registered with Fasthosts, or using Fasthosts nameservers.
◾Details of the type of record you would like create, and the location you would like to point it.
