Hosting company SingleHop, provider of dedicated servers and cloud hosting, has appointed Jordan Jacobs to its leadership team as Vice President of Products. Prior to joining SingleHop, Jacobs served as Vice President of Product Development and Director of Corporate Strategy for PhoenixNAP.
Jordan Jacobs brings more than a decade of business strategy and product development experience in the cloud, hosting, and managed services market to SingleHop. While at PhoenixNAP, Jordan was directly responsible for product development, vision, and strategy across all of the company’s IaaS product lines. Earlier in his career, Jacobs worked with Pacific Rack as Director, and at Global Net Access as Sales Manager.
Hosting product lifecycle
As VP of Products, Jacobs will oversee the entire SingleHop product lifecycle through all phases, from conceptualization to market. SingleHop CEO, Zak Boca, said Jacobs’ unique combination of technical and practical business skills – spanning from cloud architecture and design to data center engineering – are an excellent fit with the needs of SingleHop.
“We are excited to be able to attract someone of Jordan’s caliber, who visualizes and fully comprehends the opportunities in the ever-changing cloud hosting space,” Boca said. “He is an accomplished product leader who has been able to successfully leverage his technical skills, combined with adept sales experience, to gain a deep understanding of client problems and, in turn, design well-thought-out and executed products and solutions.”
Founded in 2006, SingleHop is a dedicated server and cloud hosting company that offers highly automated, on-demand infrastructure services to both end-users and resellers.
