SolarWinds MSP Acquires Email Security Solutions Company, SpamExperts

SolarWinds MSP, a global provider of solutions that integrate layered security, collective intelligence, and smart automation – both on-premises and in the cloud, has acquired SpamExperts B.V., a global provider of email security solutions deployed in the cloud or on-premises, with services for incoming (spam and virus) filtering, outgoing filtering, and email archiving.

spamexperts spam filteringLaunched in 2005 and based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands; with a second office in Bucharest, Romania; SpamExperts has provided SaaS-based email protection and email archiving services for Managed Services Provider (MSPs), Internet Services Providers (ISPs), telcos, and other IT service providers globally for more than ten years. The acquisition will augment the SolarWinds MSP Mail offering. Financial trms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The announcement follows the news that SolarWinds completed the acquisition of Scout Server Monitoring. With Pingdom Server Monitor, formerly Scout Server Monitoring, SolarWinds plans to enhance its server monitoring capabilities with “out-of-the-box simple, yet rich” SaaS-based server monitoring developed by DevOps professionals for DevOps professionals.
