Solodev, a company from Florida delivering an ecosystem of cloud services, has been selected as a Cloud Consulting Partner of the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, which will take place in Orlando, Florida from June 5th to June 12th. Solodev will be in charge of developing and delivering a cutting-edge cloud infrastructure that will enable digital experiences for players and fans alike.

Over 5,500 athletes and coaches, 20,000 volunteers, and more than 125,000 spectators are expected to attend the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, making it the largest USA Games in history.

An intelligent, secure, and highly scalable cloud approach would be required to ensure a seamless experience for tens of thousands of users. As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Advanced Technology Partner, Solodev has extensive expertise creating “world-class” cloud infrastructures, such as those that enable apps to serve huge communities of users.

Solodev is building and delivering a container-based ‘serverless’ architecture that leverages AWS’s unrivaled array of services to meet the aims of the USA Games. They’ll also supply the required DevOps to let people have a transformational, high-availability digital experience.

“The cloud has become a critical part of our overall digital strategy and we’re proud to have Solodev on our technology team,” said Lonnie Snyder, Chief Information Officer at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games. “We needed a trusted partner to help guide us through key decisions, so we can deliver the best experience for our athletes, coaches, volunteers, spectators, and ambassadors.”
