Elastic, the company behind open source Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats and Logstash), X-Pack and Elastic Cloud, has signed a strategic partnership with MEGAZONE (CSO: Max Lee), a Korean cloud-specialized IT company. MEGAZONE will be the sole partner in the Korea region for deploying Elastic’s new product, Elastic Cloud Enterprise, which enables centralized monitoring, management and provisioning capabilities across thousands of Elastic Stack clusters.
With this partnership agreement signed, MEGAZONE will be the sole partner in the Korea region for deploying Elastic’s new product, Elastic Cloud Enterprise, which enables centralized monitoring, management and provisioning capabilities across thousands of Elastic Stack clusters. The Korean market would be used as a starting point towards the global market.
Benefits to Korean customers would include the ability to use Elastic Cloud Enterprise on AWS Cloud, in their integrated form of the cloud infrastructure and SaaS (Software as a Service) with MEGAZONE’s exclusive implementation, operations and management services of their Elastic Stack environments. Elastic and MEGAZONE will also collaborate closely during the full life cycle of the implementation including sales & marketing, technical support and training.
The partnership signed between MEGAZONE and Elastic would signify a special partnership model between Korea’s leading cloud company/AWS consulting partner and creator of one of the world’s most popular open source enterprise products for search, logging and analytics. This new partnership will further trigger adoption of Elastic’s software in the Korean market and a growing user community in Korea will be enabled to utilize the software on cloud.
“We are pleased to sign this partnership since it will allow us to provide Elastic Cloud services to many Korean companies who waited for the services to be open in the domestic market,” said Max Lee, Chief Strategy Officer of MEGAZONE. “We will do our utmost to provide high-quality services to our customers in close collaboration with Elastic in all areas such as sales, technical training and marketing.”
