Swiss Cloud Provider Penta to Launch Wholesale and White label Cloud Platform

Penta, a private cloud hosting provider headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, has planned to launch a wholesale, white label cloud platform targeted at resellers looking to provide cloud hosting services to their own end-customers. The new platform, called XenStack, will be showcased during a pre-launch workshop on 22 April at Pelexpo in Geneva – at a Swiss IT business exhibition.

XenStack would allow channel partners to sell custom or pre-made self-serviced cloud hosting IT infrastructure setups, hosted on Penta’s cloud, and brand the complete customer experience as if it is their own cloud. It is designed for both entry-level one-man business startups and for established service providers who wish to expand their product portfolio or outsource their cloud infrastructure.

private-cloud-hosting-pentaPenta’s XenStack comes with comprehensive server auto-provisioning, and automated end-user billing and payment that allows each partner to bundle their server products, set their end-user pricing and build their custom product catalog.

Beta Version

The cloud hosting platform went into live beta testing in March 2015. The testing allows Penta to evaluate the platform for functionality to enhance the product before general release later this year. Beta testing is still open to a limited number of partners by signing up on xenstack.net.

“In creating XenStack, we set out to provide partners with a unique, pre-built and ready-to-run cloud computing platform they can use as their own,” said Penta CEO Farhad Khalilnia. “We equip them with a state-of-the-art and full-featured cloud computing platform, and they target it to their customers using their own brand.”

“With XenStack, partners no longer need to worry about costly infrastructure, hardware maintenance or complicated administration and billing,” added Khalilnia. “Building their customer base will be their main and only concern – everything else is taken care of.”

Penta is a private cloud-based information system management company founded in 1996 and headquartered in Geneva, with offices in Dubai’s DIFC.
