Merger with SYNNEX

Earlier this year, Tech Data inked a merger agreement with SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX) in a deal worth $7.2 billion. Clients and vendors would benefit from the merged IT distribution company’s wide reach across goods, services, and countries, with anticipated pro forma annual revenues of $57 billion and a workforce of over 22,000 associates and colleagues.

The merged IT distribution firm will service more than 100 countries in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions, with a broad, varied portfolio of more than 200,000 product and solution offerings. The merged company’s 150,000 clients and more than 1,500 vendors would benefit from greater value and buying efficiency as a result of this size.
