Tech Mahindra, a global supplier of digital transformation, consultancy, and business re-engineering services and solutions, has announced the opening of its 5G Lab as an innovation center to assist clients in co-creating and co-innovating 5G powered solutions.
The Bellevue, WA-based innovation center will curate vertical telco solutions to assist clients accomplish their future business goals using 5G and associated technology. The lab will bring together an ecosystem of partners (both telecom and cloud) to help businesses create end-to-end solutions.

Labs in United Kingdom, Malaysia, and India

The innovation lab is expected to witness software and hardware developers, operators, and cloud service providers (CSPs) coming together to co-create solutions that will define a new era of customer experience powered by 5G.
Tech Mahindra will use the 5G innovation lab’s data to drive innovation, produce new and distinctive “smart” solutions, enhance supply chains, generate new sources of value, and create new customer experiences. Tech Mahindra says it will be accomplished through focusing on network technology innovation inside the lab ecosystems in the United Kingdom, Malaysia, and India, as well as through industry-focused disruptive solutions.
5G Powered Innovation
Tech Mahindra’s 5G services would help communication service providers in transitioning to a more open, intelligent, virtualized, and fully interoperable 5G mobile network while also improving end-user experience. The lab offers a fully integrated infrastructure, testing, and network setup, as well as a dedicated staff of 5G engineers on site to assist customers in bringing innovation to market.
5G, or fifth-generation cellular technology, promises to open up a world of possibilities for businesses and society as a whole. According to industry estimates, the total consumer income flowing across 5G networks over the next decade would reach $31 trillion by 2030.
