Digital transformation solutions provider, Telefónica Tech, a company offering a wide range of services and integrated technological solutions in cybersecurity, cloud, IoT, big data and blockchain, has acquired Altostratus Cloud Consulting from Spain. Altostratus is specializing in multi-cloud services. It’s a Google Cloud Premier Partner for Southern Europe.
Through this purchase, Telefónica Tech intends to improve its cloud capabilities by adding highly skilled experts to its team and consolidating its leadership in the sector by extending its stance with the major hyperscalers. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Altostratus’ consultation, implementation, migration, and managed public cloud services will be added to Telefónica Tech’s portfolio. Altostratus, which serves over 300 customers ranging from major enterprises to small businesses, also offers tailor-made big data and machine learning solutions as well as proprietary solutions.
Google Cloud Services in Spain
“Being part of Telefónica Tech completes a journey that began more than five years ago so that we could become the leader in Google Cloud services in Spain,” said Daniel Aldea, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Altostratus. “We consider it a natural step in our relationship with Telefónica after several years of working together with our customers in their digital transformation process.”
Telefónica Tech recently integrated ACENS, an SME-focused services firm that combines its expertise with cutting-edge technology in infrastructure (cloud, housing, and IaaS), cloud communications, cloud networking, applications (SaaS), and security.
