Netherlands-based hosting conglomerate Total Webhosting Solutions (TWS), with its hosting brands across Europe including Axarnet Group, Yourhosting, Versio, PC Extreme, RealHosting, De Heeg, Savvii, Neostrada and Reviced Cloud Services, has added yet another hosting brand to its portfolio. TWS has acquired Argeweb from KPN for an undisclosed sum.
Argeweb is a web hosting company based in Maassluis, the Netherlands, and was acquired by KPN in 2014. In the cooperation with TWS, Argeweb’s independence would be safeguarded and the current organization will have the opportunity to further grow and innovate, according to a company’s statement.
Argeweb continues to provide services such as domain registration, VPS hosting, shared web hosting, Office 365, hosted exchange and online storage services to SMEs. For customers of both KPN and Argeweb services will continue uninterrupted.
The sale of Argeweb would help accelerate the simplification of KPN’s portfolio and contribute to their focus on a converged and simplified portfolio in the business market.
