Ensono, a hybrid IT services provider headquartered in greater Chicago, has announced the launch of Ensono Cloud – a private cloud that will join Ensono’s Managed AWS and Managed Azure services to provide “a complete hybrid IT experience for customers.”
The scalability of Ensono Cloud would enable CIOs to keep pace in today’s rapidly changing IT landscape. The cloud platform offers a wide range of options to suit client workloads and requirements, with performance tiers to provide additional computing and storage power to workloads that require it. Additionally, Ensono Cloud has the ability to interconnect with Ensono‘s Managed AWS and Managed Azure solutions.
“Organizations often think the public cloud is the only solution for digital transformation but some systems simply aren’t suited and others require significant re-engineering,” said Oliver Presland, vice president of global product management, Ensono. “Ensono Cloud’s flexible technology enables us to meet our clients’ ever evolving business priorities while maintaining the stability of both new and legacy enterprise applications.”
US and UK Data Centers
Ensono Cloud is designed to run business-critical applications for enterprises. The “service provider-grade” cloud platform facilitates connection to other data center systems, including IBM enterprise systems, physical appliances and public clouds. Ensono Cloud runs on a shared infrastructure inside Ensono’s U.S. and U.K. data centers, addressing the combined requirements for many global enterprises on a single platform.
Most recently, Ensono migrated the entire European SAP environment of one of the world’s leading information, communication and technology providers onto Ensono Cloud. The transition enabled the company to reduce response times from minutes to seconds.
“It’s not uncommon for organizations to find their IT infrastructure is antiquated and using a vast amount of resources that could be allocated to other business initiatives,” added Mr. Presland. “With Ensono Cloud, we offer a complete hybrid IT solution and we’re able to focus on the specific needs of each client whether it’s consolidating remote servers or incorporating legacy hardware to ensure the optimal infrastructure at the right cost.”
