KALEAO, a UK-based company with its flagship product named KMAX, has been named a Cool Vendor for Compute Platforms, 2017 by Gartner. KMAX would provide all of the benefits of hyperconverged infrastructure with advanced software defined hardware, integrated appliance level web-scale application delivery and management.
KALEAO is one of five vendors evaluated in the esteemed research analysis firm’s report. The report is aimed at Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) leaders yet to invest in hyperconvergence. The report notes that I&O leaders “will find strong innovation from new vendors that are focusing on solving the bottlenecks and scaling limitations that many users experience today. We highlight five vendors at the forefront of this revolution aiming to disrupt the established players.”
