C4L, a UK-based colocation, connectivity and cloud specialist, has signed a partnership with Virtustream, a provider of cloud management software & services. This new partnership gives C4L the opportunity to add a set of advanced cloud offers to expand its portfolio and enables Virtustream to provide customers improved access to its Data Centers and Cloud platform using C4L’s newly launched CoreTX MPLS network.
Headquartered in the US, with four privately-owned Data Centres (DC’s) across the UK and USA, Virtustream have selected C4L as UK colocation experts and is now an official C4L Partner Network ‘Technology Partner’. Through this partnership, C4L will assist Virtustream by providing colocation and connectivity requirements to new clients and creating additional revenues across their DC’s.
In turn, Virtustream will extend and strengthen C4L’s current cloud offering to include Enterprise-grade cloud features such as enhanced security, compliance and mission critical application support.

In addition, C4L can now leverage Virtustream’s data centers, its Service Provider partners, and the xStream cloud platform, both in the UK & internationally, fuelling their international growth plans.
“Virtustream have provided C4L with Colocation space in their Slough Data Centre (UKDC1) for the last 4 years, this being one of the Points of Presence (PoPs) C4L has access to in its large UK footprint of DC’s,” said Pete Hill, Business Development Director at C4L. “Virtustream’s core strength and expertise lies in providing cloud computing solutions to enterprise and government clients.
