    UKFast Enterprise Overview.

UKFast Enterprise is a specialist division of UKFast, formed to specifically look after the hosting requirements of large blue chip clients.

We’ve spent a lot of time looking at the types of products and solutions that are needed by enterprise businesses, with the main aim of providing complete reliability.

The team includes our most experienced solutions architects, technical engineers, account managers and sales professionals — so we can design and build IT solutions to suit bespoke requirements.

Enterprise businesses can save large amounts of money by using outsourced IT services, as well as freeing up IT resources and rapidly deploying services.

    Tech

The products that we offer through UKFast Enterprise are centred around performance and availability. Our clients want reassurances that business-critical information is safe and secure, and that websites on our network have the capacity to deliver a great user experience without worrying about delays or downtime.

Our tech team is made up of Microsoft, Linux and virtualisation specialists. This knowledge allows us to build scalable private cloud solutions using Hyper-V and VMware, and assist clients with getting the most from their dedicated hardware.

With Enterprise clients, we have to be really flexible. For example, we can burst traffic to our public cloud in times of high traffic, creating a hybrid cloud environment. Or we can use CDN solutions to speed up global web performance for companies with a big overseas presence.

We see ourselves as pioneers of technology and we’re always looking to develop new solutions — a good example is our Webcelerate product, which uses advanced caching technology to allow web servers to do more. This means that at busy periods, your site actually loads even faster, and we’ve seen several clients make massive improvements to bottom line sales directly as a result of this.

    Service

As Head of Customer Service at UKFast, it’s my job to ensure that our clients receive consistent levels of support, timely responses and that someone will be there to pick up the phone if they need us.

Enterprise clients get 24 hour support and direct access to the engineers that build their systems, as they are the people who know them inside out.

We’re extremely passionate about delivering world class service, which starts by internally developing better ways of doing things and ends with creating raving fans — clients that are happy to tell the world about their UKFast experience.

    Account Management

Technology is always changing and shaping the way that we do business. As an Enterprise account manager, I work with clients to make sure that their solution still meets the needs of their business and proactively monitor the account so that we are ready to deal with any issues before they become a problem.

I make sure they are aware of new technologies like private cloud and offer advice to help plan for growth. Our client base is really diverse, and we have experience in many different industry sectors — from ecommerce brands like Funky Pigeon to media companies like UKTV and global brand names, like Virgin.

Our service is really flexible and comes down to the needs of the individual client.

    Security

Security is massively important to us, and our clients. Every client is placed behind a redundant pair of firewalls and we’ll always recommend dedicated backup and security protection. We’re also ISO 27001 accredited and PCI compliant, which is really important to many of our clients to give them that extra peace of mind.

We run our network at 50% capacity, so that our clients know that they have the room to grow. If a website experiences a sudden spike in traffic, we know we’re equipped to handle that.

Essentially, UKFast Enterprise enables companies of all sizes to benefit from cloud technology and reliable hosting.
