MySQL databases can be created within the cPanel. We will take you through the steps needed to create a database in cPanel.

1. Login to cPanel
2. Scroll down until you find the Database section. Click on MySQL Databases
3. Near the top of the page you will see the section called Create New Database
4. In the New Database field, click in the blank box and type in a name for the database
5. Click on Create Database

You will then see a green bar with the notice that says “Added the database “db-name” . This confirms that the database name is completed. This completes the creation of the database within cPanel.
