How to put your business on auto-pilot using email marketing


In todays video we look at a technique to help you convert browsers into buyers. If you can offer people who come to your website something for free in exchange for their email address then you have the opportunity to start to follow up with them by email. The report should ideally be something of low cost to you to produce but of high value to your prospect.

The beauty of this is that you can set this up automatically using a tool like Aweber and it will send a set of pre-written emails to the people who have requested your report. It can even personalise them for greater effect. In today’s video I give the example of a landscape gardening service. The idea is not to bombard people with promotional emails, but rather to keep in touch using informative and helpful emails. When your customer is ready to buy then they will be more likely to use your services because you have stayed in touch.

One really strong reason for doing this is that most of your competitors won’t do this so you will be giving yourself a distinct advantage over them.
