Squirrel Mail Tutorial Series 3 of 12 – How to Read an Email

In Part 3 of our SquirrelMail tutorial series, we demonstrate how to read a new email. We also go over the different options you have after reading the email. For instance:

– Reply to the email
– Reply to all
– Forward your email to another person
– Forward as an attachment
– Delete the email, bypassing the Trash folder
– Locate the full headers of the email

As you can see there are a few options to consider once you have read the content.

Next in our SquirrelMail tutorial series is a video on how to create an email in the SquirrelMail interface. This is relatively straightforward.

Log into your SquirrleMail and you are brought to the main screen. At the top is a link labeled ‘Compose’. Click that link to open the email template.

Either enter the recipient’s email address manually or select it from the Address list.

Once you have done that, enter your subject and then the email itself in the body area. Once finished, click the ‘Send’ button.

You should get a confirmation page that the email was sent.
