Unleash analytics on operational data with Hyperscale (Citus) on Azure Database for PostgreSQL

In this demo, developer Marco Slot will show you how to use a 10 node Hyperscale (Citus) database cluster on Azure Database for PostgreSQL with 320 cores and 2.5 TB of memory. Hyperscale (Citus) is a new deployment option on Azure Database for PostgreSQL that employs the Citus open source extension to Postgres.

Built to scale out horizontally across 100s of nodes, Hyperscale (Citus) is useful for teams building customer-facing analytics dashboards who need sub-second response times, for fast-growing SaaS companies who need to scale their multi-tenant applications, and for teams looking for a way to consolidate database platforms, to avoid having separate stores for transactional and analytics workloads.
