What Should I Write About on My Blog? (Quick Ideas)

Are you stuck on what to write about on your blog?
In this video we share some great ideas that will give you plenty of inspiration.

Tony here & in this video we are going to be looking at how you can generate content for your blog. If you feel that you are not a good writer or that there is not much that you can write about then this video is for you.

If you don’t have a blog or you think that social media is not going to help your business then we strongly recommend this.

If you feel that you are not a writer then why not look in your outbox & look at the responses that you give to your clients. Your Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are really useful & you could start with these.

Another good trick is to imagine that you are sitting in front of someone you know really well, like your brother, sister, parents or even your aunt or uncle. Then try to describe what you do to them. Keep it really simple & this will help give you some great content.

Also, why not look at what other people are writing about. Just google “Your industry blog” & replace “your industry” with what you do, eg: printer blog. This will show you the blogs in your industry. If you go through each one & make a note of the most recent 10 posts in each blog.

The idea is not to copy but to get ideas. Look at the subjects that other people in your market are writing about. If you go through the first page of Google & make a note of 10 posts for each you will have a list of 100 or so ideas for your blog. Now you have loads of inspiration.

Another idea is to do a “News round up”. Just get the latest news in your industry & summarise it, maybe with some of your ideas or opinions to create an interesting blog post.

I hope that was useful & please let us have your comments.
