Global cloud computing company Vultr and Cloud 66, a Platform as a Service (PaaS) for developing, deploying, and managing apps on any cloud, have announced an expansion of their partnership to offer developers integrated DevOps and cloud infrastructure provisioning services.

Vultr and Cloud 66 are facilitating DevOps by streamlining infrastructure provisioning and deployment across a variety of high-performance cloud computing services, including on-demand access to cloud GPUs, with their now expanded joint offering built on open, API-first standards.

The two partners are providing developer teams around the world with one-click access to out-of-the-box, affordable cloud options, including high-performance cloud servers, fractional cloud GPUs (H100, A100, A40, and A16), bare metal, and cloud storage by combining Vultr’s advanced cloud hosting and services with Cloud 66’s flexible PaaS. Developers may now work in the territories in which they create thanks to Vultr’s expanding cloud footprint, which now includes over 30 data center locations across the world. This would reduce compliance and data sovereignty issues.

According to Khash Sajadi, CEO of Cloud 66, “We have been assisting digital innovators since 2012 and personally understand the growing challenges of launching and scaling cloud-native applications. To further provide innovation teams with optimum cloud performance, whether they are headquartered in Tokyo or London, we are thrilled to expand our relationship with Vultr.”

Cloud Provisioning

Extended enablement and capabilities now available by Vultr and Cloud 66 would include the following:

  • Simple cloud provisioning – With Cloud 66 and the Vultr Cloud fully connected, development teams can easily provide and manage the cloud resources of their choosing without needing to understand or be concerned about the underlying infrastructure. This speeds up deployment and lowers the likelihood of human mistake.
  • The best possible application performance – With support for all of the main application frameworks, developers may get the best possible application performance without spending a fortune. Teams can guarantee zero application downtime by combining the Cloud 66 highly available platform’s integrated failover and load-balancing features with Vultr’s global availability zone for data redundancy.
  • Cost-effective global scale – Developers escape the billing shock of operating on hyperscalers thanks to Vultr’s straightforward, clear pricing with industry-leading price-to-performance, including lowest-cost bandwidth.
  • Backup, security, and compliance built-in – Teams of developers that use Cloud 66’s native database workflow may automatically rely on it to handle their preferred Vultr cloud services in an efficient manner. Backup and recovery of data and software are dependable and rapid. In addition, Cloud 66’s integrated security features, including as firewalls and SSL/TLS encryption, together with Vultr’s SOC1 and SOC2 certification matching worldwide GRC criteria, assist developers in satisfying security and compliance needs without the need for further setup after deployment.

According to J.J. Kardwell, CEO of Vultr, “Vultr has been on a mission to enable unrestricted access to the most powerful computing resources to developers and engineering teams. We are enabling businesses to develop quickly on top of a modular joint architecture, allowing them to maintain control over their future, by building on our relationship with Cloud 66.”

Vultr operates over 30 facilities across six continents for its cloud operations. It recently expanded its operations in India with AirTel, Osaka, Santiago, and Johannesburg. Additionally, in April, Vultr announced the inclusion of NVIDIA’s HGX H100 in its lineup of cloud-based GPUs from that manufacturer. This completed the Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) support for accelerated computing workloads offered by Vultr’s A100, A40, and A16 models.
