Northwest Justice Project (NJP), Washington’s publicly funded legal aid program, a statewide not-for-profit law firm that employs more than 100 lawyers and paralegals working in 17 locations throughout Washington, has chosen ByteGrid Data Centers to provide colocation hosting services from its Lynnwood and Spokane data centers.
NJP offers specialized programs and free legal help to low-income individuals and groups facing certain types of civil legal problems. NJP staff lawyers are not engaged in the “private” practice of law, but work solely for NJP eligible clients.
Previously, NJP’s 17 offices operated individually and with separate back office systems. In a move to modernize and centralize systems with the goal of creating a statewide agency, NJP sought the necessary IT infrastructure and tools.
All of NJP’s shared back office services, including the deployment of a modern statewide call center, are now centralized in ByteGrid’s redundant Lynnwood and Spokane data centers.

Torres, Executive Director of the NJP. “We now have the ability to share pools of knowledge and resources across our 17 offices as a single law firm and enabling us to make it easier to access a wider range of services for everyone.”
Overall, ByteGrid delivers services from nine data centers in six geographically dispersed markets encompassing more than 750,000 square feet of multi-tenant colocation data center space. The company is serving some of the world’s largest companies and government agencies, including numerous Fortune 50 companies.
