HostPapa, a Canadian web hosting and cloud service provider for small and medium businesses (SMBs), has acquired iHost Networks from Seattle.

Based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, HostPapa is a web hosting and cloud services provider for SMBs across the globe that started its journey in 2006. Financial terms of the iHost acquisition were not disclosed. The acquisition of iHost follows the news that HostPapa acquired bare metal dedicated server provider Silicon Valley Web Hosting from Denetron LLC in April. Last month, HostPapa also invested $1.1 million in managed WordPress hosting platform, Rocket.net.

In 2019 and 2020, HostPapa acquired several other web hosting companies in the North American market including Canvas Host, Korax, SecureLive, Mezzo Host, Lunarpages, PacificHost, Santa Barbara Web Hosting, and E-Solutions.
