Wired Real Estate Group Inc. (“WiredRE”), a cloud hosting, colocation and data center advisor to enterprises among which banks, has announced collaboration with Frontline Data Services (“FDS”) to jointly develop colocation data centers in the New York Metro market, including New Jersey, Connecticut andPhiladelphia.
FDS, a company founded in 2010, already owns an energy-efficient colocation facility located just 20 minutes north of New York City in Orangeburg, NY. “We’ve built a data center offering that is efficient, customizable, and scalable with our customer’s needs,” said Howard Andrews, President, FDS. “We’ve entered this partnership to grow our business more aggressively and with less capital via WiredRE’s ‘just-in-time’ program.”
WiredRE has advised two of the top three global telecom firms and over half of the top banks in the US in transactions up to $100 million. The New York engagement follows recent press on UK data center market expansion by WiredRE and their collaboration with Deloitte Real Estate UK.
“FDS has established itself as a credible party via the long IT history of its founders and its growing list of satisfied customers,” said Everett Thompson, CEO, WiredRE. “We expect this collaboration to quickly and reliably allow our combined brands to expand colocation and cloud operations in the New York metro market.”
