WordPress Hosting Firm WP Engine Expands Presence in Asia

WP Engine

With a new location in Singapore, managed WordPress hosting provider WP Engine reveals its aspirations for APAC expansion. The firm is expanding in Singapore with new regional product offerings and a historic customer event this week at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, building on its rapid success in the area since opening its Brisbane, Australia, office in 2017.

The Brisbane branch of WP Engine was established in 2017 with just one salesperson, according to Mark Randall, Vice President of WP Engine’s APAC Sales. Today, Mr. Randall oversees a group of 45 workers, and WP Engine’s presence in APAC is claimed to be stronger than ever, supporting well-known companies like Sealy, Gregory Jewelers, and Volvo while fostering the company’s global expansion.

“Working directly with the incredible APAC brands and agencies innovating websites and digital experiences every day is a privilege for us,” said Mark Randall. “After experiencing such massive growth over the past five years, I am proud to see WP Engine continue to build on its strong foundation for growth, attracting the best talent and maintaining a focus on our core values, outstanding company culture, and our amazing people.”

Why Singapore?

In recent years, WP Engine has noticed an increase in customer demand throughout Asia, particularly in Singapore, which is known for its cutting-edge technology. The most recent website revamp by WP Engine Agency Partner Chillybin, WP Engine, and Fullerton Fund Management resulted in a 53 percent increase in direct acquisitions. As WP Engine expands its WordPress platform, products, and expertise across Asia, forging tight ties with Singapore-based firms and agencies can be strategically essential.

“Working with customers based in Singapore, some of whom we’ve partnered with for a few years now, it quickly became clear how important this city is, and how important the wider region is to the heartbeat of Asia and all of the incredible tech innovation that takes place here,” said Fabio Torlini, Senior Vice-President and Managing Director, International, WP Engine. “With the expansion of our platform, our products, and our team here in Singapore, WP Engine is going to have a massive impact. I have no doubt that we’ll create some of our most incredible partnerships yet.”
