WordPress Web Hosting Provider Pagely Expands Globally with AWS

Pagely, a WordPress web hosting provider headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, with presence across the USA and in in the UK, has expanded its global presence into Germany, as AWS rolled out their new Frankfurt Germany location last week.

This brings the WordPress web hosting provider’s total data center count available to nine data centers, with facilities located in:

  1. Virginia USA (the company’s default location)
  2. Oregon USA
  3. Northern California USA
  4. Ireland
  5. Frankfurt
  6. Sao Paulo
  7. Singapore
  8. Tokyo
  9. Sydney

wordpress-web-hostingPagely’s soon to open Beijing facility is in limited preview and may open up sometime next year. Right now, a select group of China-based and multinational companies with customers in China would be using the WordPress web hosting service there before it opens up more widely.

The WordPress Web Hosting plans offered abroad make use of dedicated infrastructure. Shared plans are only eligible to be hosted in Pagely’s default Virginia location to keep pricing competitive. Non-USA locations typically run 10-20% higher due to the higher costs of using them, mostly driven by bandwidth costs in those regions.
