Wow Technologies Acquires Budget VPS Hosting Specialist Virpus.com

Wow Technologies, a Seattle, WA, based cloud infrastructure company, has acquired the assets of Virpus Networks, a provider of budget Xen VPS Hosting solutions based in Kansas City, MO.

With the acquisition of Virpus, Wow Technologies would be able to extend over into the budget VPS Hosting world, and add serious value to the market by using its resources to expand onto what Virpus has already built. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Virpus was founded in 2006 by Kenneth Odem and Nick Rose with the mission of providing an unmatched service at highly competitive price points.

“Kenneth has built a quality product with a loyal customer base and we are extremely excited that we will be able to build on top of what Virpus has already achieved,” said Jimmy Pandra, President and Managing Partner at Wow Technologies. “We will be offering new product and services in the coming months and adding new datacenter locations to our offerings.”
