ZeroStack Launches Global Partner Program to Accelerate Adoption of Its Hyper-Converged Cloud Solution

ZeroStack, a pioneer in self-service and scale-out private cloud, has launched a new global Partner Program that would enable resellers and channel partners to advance and accelerate adoption of their ZeroStack Cloud Platform. The program allows partners to deliver an OpenStack ‘cloud-in-a-box’ to their customers, allowing them to focus on cloud workloads and applications rather than on cloud infrastructure and provisioning.

The ZeroStack Cloud Platform, based on OpenStack, is an hyper-converged cloud solution that provides a software-driven private cloud. This would offer the ease-of-use of a public cloud, coupled with complete control and security.

The new Partner Program is a key component of ZeroStack’s overall business strategy. It was designed to support regionally strategic VARs whose commitment to their customers extend beyond selling legacy data center infrastructure. openstack cloudZeroStack’s cloud model is delivered through scale-out ZeroStack Cloud Building Blocks that integrate compute, clustered storage, software-defined networking (SDN) and management software running as part of a “highly resilient” control plane. This on-premises infrastructure is consumed and managed by the ZeroStack Cloud Portal, which provides analytics-based insights and optimizations for application deployment.

“Businesses today are looking for more than just a converged hardware platform. They need a full stack solution emulating the ease of public cloud consumption, with the security and predictability of private clouds,” said Sean Cardenas, vice president of sales and operations, ZeroStack. “ZeroStack’s solution delivers everything in a rapidly deployable platform that scales seamlessly – without requiring OpenStack expertise.”

Gartner: Cool Vendor

ZeroStack was founded on the premise that building and operating a private cloud should be fast, simple and cost-effective, without sacrificing functionality. The company was recently named a ‘Cool Vendor’ in Cloud Infrastructure 2016 by industry analyst firm Gartner.

“We’re constantly on the lookout for something disruptive and we believe ZeroStack is just that,” said Jeff DiNisco, CTO of P1 Technologies, one of ZeroStack’s channel partners. “The biggest obstacle in private cloud deployment is complexity, which ZeroStack completely eliminates. Our partnerships with ZeroStack and T5 Data Centers have enabled us to quickly deploy our own cloud without the typical trial and error. P1 Technologies is now able to offer our customers the same benefit of significantly reducing the resources and costs required to deploy a private cloud.”

Founded by Kiran Bondalapati, founding engineer at Bromium, and Ajay Gulati, who was a senior architect and R&D lead at VMware, ZeroStack was built by a veteran team of cloud experts. The company is headquartered in Mountain View, California.
