The facts on the ground indicate companies like Meetup and Wikia have recently broken free from the harsh daily grind of in-house DNS hardware. Others like Music Choice have broken free to Dyn from ISP or hosting company DNS. There is even one confirmed report that Connexus Corporation has broken free from an ultra expensive contract to Dyn Inc. Cheap and inefficient DNS escape artists like Twitter, Squarespace and Stylefeeder are everywhere. The pattern is becoming clear, that companies are breaking free to Dyn.
