Chef Partners With HP to Bring DevOps to HP’s Enterprise Customers

At HP Discover, Chef, the provider of web-scale IT automation, has announced a new partnership with HP to transform IT operations for HP’s enterprise customers. HP Technology Services now offers Chef’s IT automation platform as part of its Datacenter Care – Infrastructure Automation offering, turning infrastructure into code so data center management is versionable, repeatable and less costly.

It would deliver the support and expertise in one personalized service, for increased IT stability, accountability and agility. By incorporating Chef into this offering, HP can help enterprises turn their infrastructure into code, empowering a DevOps approach to software delivery and IT operations.
