Wipro to Invest $1 Billion to Expand Its Cloud Transformation Capabilities

Wipro, a large global information technology, consulting, and business process services company, has launched its FullStride Cloud Services, as well as a commitment to invest $1 billion over the next three years in cloud technologies, capabilities, acquisitions, and partnerships.

Wipro FullStride Cloud Services would bring together the complete portfolio of Wipro’s cloud-related skills, products, and expertise to better coordinate the cloud journey for customers as the cloud potential grows.

This commitment builds on Wipro’s existing and extensive cloud business with clients and significantly expands the investment with its partners and hyperscalers. Wipro’s cloud business has grown steadily, and it now employs over 79,000 cloud experts, including more than 10,000 individuals who have been certified by the top cloud service providers. Wipro has announced important cloud-related client wins with Telefónica Germany / O2, Verifone, and E.ON in the last 12 months, in addition to METRO AG, one of Wipro’s largest transactions ever.
