XCDN, an eCommerce-based content delivery network (CDN) currently available to customers in the Americas only, is moving to the global stage. Exceda’s CDN solution, currently available only to customers in the Americas, will incorporate multiple CDN partners to deliver customers’ website content to – and from – anywhere in the world beginning this summer.
XCDN caches customer website content in hundreds of thousands of servers located in networks and data centers all over the world. Content is served from the closest location to the end user, measured in both distance and network conditions to minimize latency.
Companies that use XCDN would be protected from site outages and slowdowns due to heavy visitor traffic, Internet outages, and malicious traffic. These benefits come at a low monthly cost for the XCDN service, says Exceda, while reducing additional spending on physical or cloud web infrastructure.

XCDN is available to customers in the Americas at xcdn.exceda.com. Exceda’s CDN service will be available for sales outside the Americas as of July 1, 2017.
